Is my data backed up?
Yes, we do nightly backups of all of the data. In case of an emergency we can fully restore the entire system. Our goal is 99% uptime.
How can I cancel my account?
Only the account holder can cancel the account.
  • Click on the “account” link
  • Click on “Please cancel my account” link
A confirmation page asking, “Are you sure you want to cancel your SlateCRM account?".
  • Click on the “I understand, cancel my account” button.
Do you offer phone support?
Currently, we do not offer phone support but you can email us anytime at info@slatecrm.com and we will respond as quickly as possible.
What can the account holder do that users can’t?
The account holder can cancel the account.
How many account holders can an account have?
Only one account holder.
What is an admin?

Admin is short for administrator and they have all the abilities as an account holder except cancel the account. Any admin can give anyone else “admin” status by clicking the “users” tab and giving them access. Also, admins can remove access for any user.

Remember, admins can not view any info that anyone on the account marks private. Other users which includes admins and account holder can only view what you want them to view.

Can we have multiple admins?
Yes, you can have as many as you want.
How do I invite an user?

To invite a person to share your SlateCRM account you click on “users” at the top hand corner of the page. Click the “invite a user” button and fill out the information.

After invitation is sent you can always go back to the “users” and see what date the invitation was sent or if you need to re-send.

How do permissions work?
Permissions allow the creator of the item to set who has access to this particular item.
What are the levels of permissions?
“Everyone” means every user that has access to your account can see this item.
“Only me” means only you can see this item.
“Select a group…” allows you to select an existing group of people who can see this item.
What are groups?
Groups are individuals associated with one another. For instance, you can create a group called “Marketing” which would include Marketing Director, Marketing Coordinator, and Marketing Specialist.
What is the purpose of groups?
It makes it easier to set permissions to a group versus having to apply it individually.
How do I assign a task to another person?
When you fill out the task form, select the name of the user you want to assign it to under the “Who’s responsible” pull down menu.
Can I create reoccurring tasks?
No, at this time we do not offer an automatic reoccurring feature.
